1. So why did I pay when I can view everything without a subscription? And wouldn't a subscriber be able to bypass most ads? Please improve this app.Great way to get my daily paper, sometimes issues opening the app But still very goodLoud volume ads 🤬 Hate the invasive ads when opening the app up.As a conservative im disgusted and wary of the sharp turn towards the far right this newspaper has been taking.

2. if I have a paid digital subscription why do I get ads?This app would have scored 5 stars if not for their "bright idea" to post totally unrelated news videoclips above each article.

4. Why can I not MUTE ads? Even when they're not visible, such as when I've scrolled past the ad, the sound keeps going and there are no volume or mute controls in the app.
