This behaviour is very annoying and I don't use the app very much as a result.The quality of the news from this source is declining to the point it is unreadable.The content is very good but the app itself consumes enormous amount of data, I just read it during my morning commute and half of the data I use on my phone is used by this app.

3. Even worse though, when you click back after reading an article if there ever is one other than a headline, it goes back to the very top of the 1st page of the app instead where in line the article was placed in the list!! You are forced to scroll all the way down EVERY time.

1. Fix National Post Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart National Post: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the National Post App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "National Post" » Open National Post » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for National Post » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear National Post app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from National Post servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "National Post" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check National Post app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, National Post might not work.
