Why should I report an Issue with Spark: Chords, Backing Tracks?

1. Until the bug is fixed I'm leaving at 2 stars.FIX FOR BLUETOOTH DISCONNECT: If your device has a high refresh rate display like the newer Samsung phones and your amp disconnects from your phone, go into the phone settings and set the screen to 60hz, or battery saver mode.

2. I wish there would be an update to the app to fix this issue, otherwise it works great! Hope this helps somebody out there.I love being able to achieve "that" tone on basically every genre I play.Whether it be blues,classic rock,metal or whatever.

3. Thank god i have 2 of my favorite settings loaded on my spark itself, but i literally cant use my pedal switch at all because it must connect to the phone and not the amp, which im terribly disappointed in.Constantly disconnects, can hardly connect long enough to change presets.

4. I could care less about making videos, I just want to be able to jam to my music library and have tools to learn them.Disappointing, been a huge fan of Positive Grid's gear for a long time.

5. Borderline unusable unless I get lucky... but it'll disconnect after 3 minutes anyway.I like the sound of Spark amps and their features but I spend 90% of my time trying to get the stupid Bluetooth and this app to connect.

6. The app itself is easy to use and you have so many options to spark that creativity that keeps you coming back day after day.Being able to stream basically any song to play along with is a huge plus.

7. I found you can upload a song with the purpose of doing a video but it's a royal pain in the rear end having to constantly move back and forth manually thru the track to sections you want to focus on.

8. I bought a custom Spark Mini for travel, it arrived today and I was excited to get playing, but the app WILL NOT stay connected to my device.

9. Also, Spotify and iTunes as the only music-in options is pretty limiting.I think this might be simply the most plug and play fun and easily inspiring gear besides just holding and playing your guitar.

10. If you are struggling with making the next step in your playing ability or your just bored,buy the amp,download the app and play what you want to play.The functionality is ok.

11. I have the latest firmware update on my brand new Spark Mini and yet it constantly disconnects from tone control.

1. Fix Spark Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Spark: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Spark App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Spark" » Open Spark: Chords, Backing Tracks » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Spark » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Spark: Chords, Backing Tracks app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Spark servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Spark: Chords, Backing Tracks" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Spark app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Spark might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Spark. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Spark then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Spark not working

2. Fix Spark Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Spark be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Spark not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Spark may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
