1. Pay, extend, and manage your parking session with Buffalo's official parking app. It’s easy! - Time's precious, stop wasting it feeding a meter. - Forget refilling the meter in the rain or braving the cold.
2. See when parking rates will change in the future – even when there’s free parking! - Receive email receipts at the end of your parking session. - Expenses made easy, manage your parking history through the mobile app.
3. Get alerts when your parking session is about to end. - Stop worrying about how much time is left on the meter, we have you covered.
4. Add time to your parking session directly from your phone. - Your plans change, your parking spot shouldn't.
5. Simply extend your parking session via our app.
6. The Buffalo Roam app is not done yet!
7. We're constantly updating the app based on your feedback. - Location Services (optional): Used to quickly provide nearby parking zones.
1. It's a cash grab that makes Buffalo super unfriendly to visitors and the city should be ashamed for having such an unfriendly parking app partner.
2. Still waiting on an email response about having two wallets that I can't merge for some reason.Nope, not gonna pre-load real $$$$ just to pay for $2 parking while driving through Buffalo, which I may never use again.
3. Use any other parking app if available! I will happily update this review to 5 stars if the $10 minimum requirement is eliminated. The old version was great except for it not allowing as much time.
4. The app makes you put $10 on the app! When is anyone going to spend that if they don't live there or never go downtown??? PLUS, they charge a "convenience" fee! BRING CHANGE WHEN TRAVELING TO BUFFALO AND SKIP THIS RIPOFF APP!Continually over charges nearly everytime I use this app.
5. I almost forgot to mention since it's more or less a given, but the only part of the app that works is billing your card.Awful! I don't live in Buffalo, yet they won't take my credit card to park downtown, I have to use the app unless I have $2 in CHANGE.
6. Other notes; permissions are ridiculous for a mandatory app and not city visitor friendly.App suddenly gone after almost two years and with funds on my account left.
7. Lousy.I could just pay the city $2, or I could maintain a minimum $10 Buffalo Roam balance to pay $4 for the same spot.
8. Since they both had same name, company van, I had not noticed the change and certainly would not have expected such odd behavior. The old app honked a horn when time was near to expiring and unless this one switched to "media" for its sounds, that is also gone.
9. Nothing convenient about this app, or system of paying for parking. It really should have a prompt if you actually need to pay for the time period you are about to pay for.
10. Be it the city parking planners, the credit-card transaction processors or even the app developers.
11. After confirming and agreeing to be charged for the selected time, it will still tack an extra hour on that you never wanted and charge you for it without your knowledge until it is done.
