1. If it did a "find next" search this app would definitely be five star material.Does exactly what it says on the tin: provides a FREE, no-ads (!) convenient way to read text files at a very small footprint.

3. And I'm glad it does cause the only way my phone could open txt files was via Google Chrome and when you are trying to read a fanfic without WiFi that eats up data that you don't want to waste.

5. But pro features get a higher limit but still not unlimitedOpened a tiny (80kb) text file with a non-standard file extension and it was truncated in the app, so only the first half or so of it could be seen.

7. All those files with no extension, in that folder you didn't create, dated 1970 will open and you can see all the personal data Google has stored about you.

8. Someone went through the trouble of creating and maintaining a really lightweight, very convenient app which does exactly what it says it will do, does not collect data and is easy to use.Like it says, it is very light and simple, but in one particular aspect, it's too simple.

9. The only drawback is that I wish there was a "find next" search function that would scroll down or up the file to the next instance (like Windows Notepad does) instead of just highlighting all instances.

1. Fix Text Viewer Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Text Viewer: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Text Viewer App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Text Viewer" » Open Text Viewer : Simple & Tiny » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Text Viewer » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Text Viewer : Simple & Tiny app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Text Viewer servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Text Viewer : Simple & Tiny" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Text Viewer app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Text Viewer might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Text Viewer. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Text Viewer then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Text Viewer not working

2. Fix Text Viewer Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Text Viewer be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Text Viewer not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Text Viewer may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
