1. They all chose not to take me because I didn't tip FIRST!! How do you guys expect to be tiped for a Service I didn't even receive Yet.The only good thing is the price but other then that I don't Recommend!whatever you do do not tip your driver through this app because they have their processing system set to automatically take 3% of all tips so you are better off to tip your driver in cash or just steer away from this company entirely they're very untruthful with their drivers about fees that are charged for processing payment, they tell drivers how much they charge such as $0.30 and 2.9%, but yet they don't tell them how much is actually been charged for each trip.
2. Ive had drivers accept and then not show up or contact me, and because of issues with app been unable to contact driver or nomad team, and if after a half hour of waiting nobody shows up or contacts me im charged 5 dollars for canceling.
3. anyone who's ever taken a ride with nomad as a driver I can see all of your personal information including pick-up and drop-off locations..... It's cheap for reasonI have caught Nomad Rides spiking prices on a regular basis claiming that it's busy and that's why they're doing it.
4. this is dishonestThe app definitely needs cleaned up for most people to utilize it but bottom line why I'm giving this 5 star even though the app itself needs work (I'm sure they will get there) is the fact it is a cheaper fare for me the rider and all the fare goes to the driver not a company.
5. You can't see if they are actually following the route and the app doesn't tell you that the driver has "picked you up," and it doesn't confirm that the ride has been completed.
6. If they can nail proper ride scheduling (where it's confirmed in advance and not just distributed to drivers at the desired time like Uber and Lyft) then they are set to become a force to be reckoned with.
7. So even tho it's showing 3 drivers just waiting for costumes also the app let me know i was first on line to get a ride.
8. You can barely get service in my area in Champaign,IL and there's literally 1 driver that consistently accepts my ride.
9. The reason they spike the price is actually to try and pull drivers that are active on Uber/Lyft over to Nomad.
10. The tipping to be the first rider the driver chooses reminds me of bidding on a product on eBay.
11. Felt less safe/intuitive than UberWhen im able to get a ride it has been awesome, but the app keeps crashing.
