All other apps seem to offer only a gaussian blur which looks clearly different from a real focus blur.I love this app, as someone who does a ton of editing away from photoshop this is a great little on the go app, I have tons of photo editing apps but this is the best I've seen for drawing in blur, so much quicker to do with the system it uses, one thing I think it's missing is a good crop.

After 30 minutes of frustration, I deleted it.This app is not necessarily the only one of it's kind, but where those alternate apps try as hard as possible to end up only making whomever using them look more like amateurs! Whereas Afterfocus does Everything it proclaims to do, on top of a whole lot more & pretty much no matter what you do in the app, the results consistently end up looking like they've been editted by professionals us enterprise level editing software! Thanks for making my pics look so damn good!Good app.

3. Says something about tapping the menu at the bottom to change background colors - there is no menu at the bottom! Couldn't figure out the difference between icons - person, trees, mountains? Eye icon makes everything disappear? Nothing blurred automatically like other reviewers are saying.

4. I don't know what you call it, but I call it USELESS!Amazing! It's as easy as they say, just draw some doodle-like lines to mark focus and blur areas, adjust the blur level, and you're done.

5. Would be great if you could use your tactic to crop Individual items out of the pic as a separate stick/layer so you could use it for parallax or changing background etcThis is a great app but we dont get that blunt blur.

6. I only wish that the marking pens and makings' colors can be customized or at least changed instead of just greys and reds, respectively.The selection of the object takes time and the resulting selection is usually far from something that you could achieve with PhotoShop for example.

7. Please add opacity blur option for each focus range in manual brush.

8. Unlike other apps, the foreground doesn't bleed into the background (creating an obviously fake effect); it stays sharp.

9. There are other apps which are faster, simpler, and less annoying which help you achieve the bokeh effect you"re looking for.

10. Once pressed, not only does it undo the last action, but it also corrupts the masking on the entire image that was painstakingly created.

11. Also, there should be a way to increase/decrease the sensitivity of the "smart select."I'm very impressed with how well the blur turns out, it's very realistic.

1. Fix AfterFocus Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart AfterFocus: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the AfterFocus App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AfterFocus" » Open AfterFocus » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AfterFocus » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear AfterFocus app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AfterFocus servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AfterFocus" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check AfterFocus app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AfterFocus might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall AfterFocus. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AfterFocus then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AfterFocus not working

2. Fix AfterFocus Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AfterFocus be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AfterFocus not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AfterFocus may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
