1. 😪 I really liked the app and am sad to not be able to use it any longer.Worked great for just over a week now it doesn't take a photo when the wrong pin is entered.

2. However, I caught it using my camera without me getting my password wrong.

3. Some areas of improvement could be to fix my first issue and send an email to a specified address when the password is wrong.

4. But the sketchy camera use for day, a couple of times each day...NOPE. GoodbyeThe app stopped taking pics when I turned off my camera shutter sound to be silent.

5. But 30? Lolit doesn't show the wrong attempts or the pictures at all.

6. The first like (working) app I find, I'm going to purchase the pro version...but my patience is too thin to listen to nonsensical advertisements while I'm simply testing to see if an app works.

7. No... it takes like literally 30 photos and my phone will kind of freeze up for about 15-20 secs, I guess from taking a photo every second.

8. Entered the wrong password on purpose to see if it works.

9. I was not alarmed that the overlay was using permissions at other times I wasn't using it because I assumed it was an update or a check or whatever.

10. Still doesn't work.Not sure if it does what it says, but it does plenty it doesn't tell you about.

11. I get notifications about programs using permission in the background and sure enough, the app is using my camera randomly several times a day.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Third Eye Issues

1. Fix Third Eye Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Third Eye: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Third Eye App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Third Eye" » Open Third Eye - Intruder Detection » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Third Eye » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Third Eye - Intruder Detection app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Third Eye servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Third Eye - Intruder Detection" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Third Eye app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Third Eye might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Third Eye. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Third Eye then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Third Eye not working


2. Fix Third Eye Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Third Eye be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Third Eye not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Third Eye may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
