Would have liked to try it.Mini nurse light helps me understand nursing better .A good appsTo all people getting the black screen after the database update - I had the same problem, but noticed that after the database update downloaded, the app's main screen flashed up briefly before it all went black, which gave me an idea.

2. Next time I opened the app and updated the databases, I clicked on an icon in the brief second that the main screen was visible, and it worked, and the screen didn't turn black, and now it works perfectly every time.

3. Once installed you get a pop-up saying that the app won't work without updated the database, therefore forcing you to 'update' the app once installed, and it instantly goes to a black screen afterward.

4. Time to go dig through the attic to try and find my old books from nursing school..There seem to be a problem in one of the calculation test.

5. I suspect if the device updates the app and a new database needs downloading, I may encounter the same problem, but it's an easy fix tbh.

1. Fix Mini Nurse Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Mini Nurse: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Mini Nurse App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Mini Nurse" » Open Mini Nurse - Lite » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Mini Nurse » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Mini Nurse - Lite app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Mini Nurse servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Mini Nurse - Lite" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Mini Nurse app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Mini Nurse might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Mini Nurse. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Mini Nurse then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Mini Nurse not working

2. Fix Mini Nurse Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Mini Nurse be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Mini Nurse not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Mini Nurse may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
