MIPC Customer Insights

1. The app and therefore camera is junk! "Operation Without Permission Error" every time I try to change a setting or format SD card? Doesn't loop recording on continuous record mode so formatting once full is only option, which gives you an error.

2. The camera's pic quality is great from what I saw yesterday, but without the app working, it's useless and I'm pretty disappointed.Love the camera but the app has a bug that they need to fix The notifications time out after a while.

3. However recently you now need to skip past an ad to access the live feed every time, which is not only annoying but causes a delay in seeing the feed from the camera.

4. Bring back the option to fully adjust the camera image not just a day or night mode.Works well enough, but has flaws.

5. When it does pick to work, it's so clear and nice.Used this app with their camera for over a year and it was great.

6. A bright window whitewashes everything and without the settings to adjust it ruins the camera quality.

7. Which makes it really difficult to get a clear view in bright areas or to improve camera quality to best fit the area where the camera is located.

8. I just wish there was notifications I could get when there is a camera reading, aside that it's been very useful, easy to use, and not a super paint to set up.

9. I'm at work and want to check my camera, which is the whole purpose of having it.

10. I would recommend another camera and app.Absolutely no customer service.

11. It worked fine when I bought it, now with the app upgrades it's useless unless you're only interested in watching it live.Honestly, I've been using this since summer 2022 and I actually adore it.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MIPC Issues

1. Fix MIPC Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MIPC: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MIPC App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MIPC" » Open MIPC » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MIPC » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MIPC app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MIPC servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MIPC" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MIPC app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MIPC might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MIPC. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MIPC then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MIPC not working


2. Fix MIPC Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MIPC be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MIPC not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MIPC may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I have contacted you several days ago. I'm having a major issues with this app. If I didn't need security cameras I would have brought them.   • I bought cloud storage but was under the impression that it would work for all my cameras not that I would have to buy a new subscription for each one, when I realized my mistake after purchasing a year I tried to cancel it but all it did was stop the cloud storage but I was never refunded for the year I paid for. I only had it for a minute or two and If like a refund for the year worth of cloud that now I cannot even use as it was deleted.

  • Not a complaint....I recently purchased 4 cameras and they each had a free year subscription to your cloud service. (1) how do I redeem the free year. (2) do I need to redeem each free coupon? (3) is the $29.95 cloud storage charge per year cover all 4 cameras in the account or is the $29.95 charge per each camera in the account?

  • My camera was working just fine, then I went to use it on my phone, & it signed me out without my knowledge, then wouldn't allow me to sign back in. Said password that was auto-filled is incorrect. Tried "forgot password", but it said no email is binded to that username. So it wouldn't let me in. Started all the way over with a new name. Tried to scan the ID barcode, but it said the password is incorrect. Which is not true. This password "admin" IS correct. So wtf is wrong with this thing? How do I get back to using my camera?!   • I used to get a sound when camera picked up auto detection, While at work or out and about, but now all I get is silent notifications. I have reset, same issue, I have started all over with manf. settings, same issue. When I'm at home and next to camera and have my app open I will get a ding and vibration, but only if I'm in the app.
