MIPC Customer Insights

1. The app and therefore camera is junk! "Operation Without Permission Error" every time I try to change a setting or format SD card? Doesn't loop recording on continuous record mode so formatting once full is only option, which gives you an error.

2. The camera's pic quality is great from what I saw yesterday, but without the app working, it's useless and I'm pretty disappointed.Love the camera but the app has a bug that they need to fix The notifications time out after a while.

3. However recently you now need to skip past an ad to access the live feed every time, which is not only annoying but causes a delay in seeing the feed from the camera.

4. Bring back the option to fully adjust the camera image not just a day or night mode.Works well enough, but has flaws.

5. When it does pick to work, it's so clear and nice.Used this app with their camera for over a year and it was great.

6. A bright window whitewashes everything and without the settings to adjust it ruins the camera quality.

7. Which makes it really difficult to get a clear view in bright areas or to improve camera quality to best fit the area where the camera is located.

8. I just wish there was notifications I could get when there is a camera reading, aside that it's been very useful, easy to use, and not a super paint to set up.

9. I'm at work and want to check my camera, which is the whole purpose of having it.

10. I would recommend another camera and app.Absolutely no customer service.

11. It worked fine when I bought it, now with the app upgrades it's useless unless you're only interested in watching it live.Honestly, I've been using this since summer 2022 and I actually adore it.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MIPC Issues

1. Fix MIPC Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MIPC: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MIPC App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MIPC" » Open MIPC » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MIPC » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MIPC app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MIPC servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MIPC" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MIPC app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MIPC might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MIPC. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MIPC then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MIPC not working


2. Fix MIPC Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MIPC be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MIPC not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MIPC may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I press the download button then go to Files to play and open with mp4 player it says cant open or play. How can I fix this? 20 minutes 20Mb video. Trying opening with many software programs. Doesnt work.

  • Can you move the alarm button over to the left? Its too close to the full screen choice and the edge of the screen and gets accidentally pressed a lot or does unless you are very careful

  • Hi I paid for 2 years of cloud service but I did not like the service and the camera for many reasons so I just want to stop the service from renewing itself. I paid for the cloud storage through the MIPC app on my iPhone. The subscription DOES NOT show up under subscriptions on the apple App Store though. I tried logging into the MIPC website but it says my account was never activated. I found the old activation email from when I bought the service on September of last year but it says the link expired but I'm pretty sure I activated it. I see no other way to stop the service from renewing itself and charging me again so please help me cancel this.

  • Hello when I try to log onto the camera or set up it tells me I have a password era check the password and retype the password it’s still comes up with password error I go in and I remove the device and add it again and it still comes up password error I go through all the prompts and go through everything all the way down the line and I still don’t get no connection to the router I even moved it closer why is that can anyone else be on the line I notice when I’m doing this that the lens is turning as it supposed to do but it’s not even connected what could probably be the cause

  • im not really trying to complain just had a quick question. my girlfriend has mipc cams hooked up to her mipc app on her phone and recently we just downloaded the windows app as well. with that being said my question is how do i view the cloud recordings on the windows app, we already know how to view them on the android app. if you can please get back to me with instructions on how to do so that would be greatly appreciated.

    1. At one point my camera was recording on a 24 hour loop, now it stops recording sometimes after 11 o'clock eat, I have it set from 0000-2400...please advise?

  • The MIPC app for Windows doesn´t show all the videos recorded in the camera, using the mobile app I can scroll down and get the full list of videos but that is not possible from the Windows app. For example I am trying to see all the videos from yesterday and using the same filter (1 hour videos) in the mobile app I can see 24 videos but in the Windows app I can see just 10 videos (from midnight to 10am)

  • I need someone to contact me as I am having recording issues. There are gaps between recordings. Why is this happening? The day and time that I needed was not recorded. This should record 24/7. I'm very disappointed. If not fixed I'll have to go with a different company because this is a real safety issue.
