Laps first on boulder problems or routes is highly recommended. -Starting with a set on the jug holds of the hangboard is also recommended. -When hanging on a hold, fingers should be in a half-crimp position. -The arms should be in a very slightly bent position, the muscles should be “engaged”. -Hang from the hold on the hangboard for the number of seconds you entered. -Rest for the number of seconds you entered.
2. This simple and easy to use workout app is for training finger strength for rock climbing and bouldering by doing hangboard intervals or “repeaters”.
3. Hangboards and fingerboards are not recommended for beginner climbers. -Be sure to be properly warmed-up before using the fingerboard.

1. Also no pause button, just stop, which resets the current rep/rest timer to 0.If you lock your phone while in a workout it often keeps going over your time limit and the only way to get it to work again is to restart the workout.
2. Its either no sound, so you need to somehow be staring at your phone, or 5 seconds of constant awful beeping before every single rep and rest.Used to love this app, then it updated to have this very annoying beeping in the last 5 seconds of each time interval.
3. The only other thing I'd lile to see is multiple custom hangs.App normally works ok, but the workout resets when battery saver comes on midway through a workout, resulting in me losing my progress 3 times now.
4. Would be great to be able to pause a workout if you need to access another app or record that you had to stop a workout early.
5. Therefore I can only get 1 set in using the current version of the app, so it only gets one star here.Awesome, until the most recent update with the god awful beeping before every single timed event.
6. For some reason when I set the custom time limit parameters it only goes through one cycle and then countinues counting infinitely into negative digits thereafter.
