Also, it would be nice to have a finer control over the vertical viewing angleI would pay the premium, weren't it for 2 huge flaws: 1-the movie theater goes dim when the video starts running but the baked lighting on the 3D environment doesn't change hue and intensity according to the images reflected on the cinema screen.

Fix if you can, pls, TY.This was the best vr player but now it won't let me change any of the advanced settings so your stuck in tap mode and not able to select hover.I guess this is the only way for me to ask for help! I'm on quest 2 and downloaded mods for bonelab and everyone is saying mobile vr station is messed up from update.

3. Wish it could support other video format as well for better movie experience.Neglected features on Android.

4. 2-the theater environment is full stereoscopic 3D with depth when I use the cardboard option, but whenever I launch the Daydream mode it turns into a flat monoscopic sphere projection.

7. Sure, the presets, controls and feature are numerous, a bit complicated at times and have a bit of a learning curve, but once you find the settings that's right for you, the app works perfectly.

8. Due to all the great features and satisfaction with that experience, I erroneously bought this on Android.

9. BIG MISTAKE! The Android version feels like an outdated beta version.

10. This is probably the best VR app for android, and to be honest, most mobile devices(also had it for iOS) out there.

11. It can browse and play from DLNA media server which is really best feature in my opinion.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Issues

1. Fix Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart : Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "" » Open Mobile VR Station » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Mobile VR Station app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Mobile VR Station" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall . If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing not working


2. Fix Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Hi. Thanks for this software! I have used it for a few years now on my iPhone 6s with much success.

    I recently purchased a new new- Samsung Galaxy S9+ and was able to install Mobile VR Station on it as well. I have not been able to add any content however because I am not able to use iTunes with the Motorola phone.

    Do you have a guide on how to add content to the Mobile VR Station app installed on a Samsung Galaxy phone? Thank you very much for your help and advice!
