1. I know that my TV volume does not really go through to his apartment, so I used the app to measure the dbs from the TV and then turned my guitar amp to the equal level;even though the kind of signal is different the level was approximate enough for her to give me feedback and say it doesn't really make much of a difference.Really accurate and lets you set a timer for how long the decibel amount shows on the screen.
2. Then went back to the exact same reading as it did no matter what volume came from my home stereo speakers. No matter how loud the music is its stuck at 75 80db this app is fake, while I know I was pushing way beyond 100dbI have zero idea how Not to sound like a payd add.
3. The ability to calibrate it is what made this app great IMO!To get out of this screen I have to physically shut my phone down for at least 3 or 4 minutes because I try to fire it up back again within that time frame I still have sound meter screen.
4. Do not trust itDid not change reading while sound was increased, only registered a quick change in reading when I unplugged my calibrated microphone from the phone.
5. Worked wonders! This app turned out to be pretty accurate when compared to a Pro digital sound meter.
6. Wish it could correctly identify the sound thoughIt's ok to get a ballpark, ads & popups are a little annoying, but functional to determine how loud outside hangs are.
7. This world is never quiet so its impossible to get it at null but it does a pretty spot on job with helping me follow the sound requirements.
8. Otherwise it's an okay app.Extremely inaccurate, shows that everything is 75-80db when a real meter can be up to 15db more accurate than this app.
9. "Real time charting" is nice to kind of pick out what is what, but overall use the app sparingly to cut down on resources, and passive listening.
10. It is picking up a deep low sound hitting the walls of the house.
11. This app lets me show people the vibration i hear and feel.
