Customize lock frequency, more user friendly. -Save phone power by 50% after enable power saving mode in AppLock. -Tap the lock icon at the upper right corner on Lock App page, to enable or disable AppLock. -Use fingerprint lock or force close to confuse intruders, more secure. • Accessibility Service: This app uses Accessibility services to reduce battery usage, improve unlocking efficiency, and ensure AppLock works stably. • Draw Over Other Apps: AppLock uses this permission to draw lock screen on top of your locked app. • Usage Access: AppLock uses this permission to detect if a lock app is opened.

1. I tried locking What'sapp and every time I go to open the app, it goes straight into the app instead of asking me to enter a password first! It doesn't matter how many times I reset my phone, unlock and lock it again or just play around with it.

2. First post: Been using this app for quite some time very successfully, but bought a new Motorola phone with Android 10 and it no longer works on any apps except its own.

3. Bottom line, it's always worked very well for me and I highly recommend it to protect your privacy! Thanks and a great job to the developers...It won't lock all the apps you want it to.

4. I noticed that possibly the other Apps or the phone itself will turn this App off giving the appearance that it doesn't work or function well.

5. Many app locks are providing this feature as it improves even furthertoo unstable! Works for a short time then my phone is blinking all over the place.

6. Also I do not think ads have been displayed every time AppLock is opened!once I downloaded applock it was okay and it worked fairly well but then I realized it was really draining my battery.

7. so I do not recommend this app.Update: It went back to working fine for a while after the app was updated, but now on Android 11 it locks me out of YouTube whenever I finish watching a video and try to go back to the homepage.

8. Still haven't found a proper one.. gonna uninstall.. sorry..Wth. This has so much potential! But it just doesn't respond 100% of the time.

9. I will add that I am running Fluid N.G. and noticed that it prevented me from using the Battery Saver option in AppLock.

10. :(The app is good, sometimes the lock applies after a few seconds and the app which is locked can be used for a few seconds.

11. One major missing part which I felt was that the key board on the lock should keep changing so that no 1 is able to see the code.

1. Fix AppLock Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart AppLock: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the AppLock App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AppLock" » Open AppLock » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AppLock » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear AppLock app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AppLock servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AppLock" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check AppLock app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AppLock might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall AppLock. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AppLock then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AppLock not working

2. Fix AppLock Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AppLock be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AppLock not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AppLock may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
