Here is my rate, I hope this stops the pop ups.On a Samsung Galaxy A23 5G, Android 13: this app caused major load lag (like 20+ secs) on all apps, froze settings nearly 2 minutes (afraid it crashed phone, but recovered) and failed to request a pattern/pin for any blocked apps! It did play several ads and spam multiple $59.99/yr VIP upgrades before I was able to remove it.

2. 4 stars for me considering it's exactly what I needed but there is a glitch in the settings and I recommend just setting up the AppLock and not changing it too much.Righteously awesome app lock, probably one of the best out there if not #1.

3. But there is an issue and a pretty decent one at that, it seems to have a serious problem when it comes to locking the settings, it actually causes not only the app to glitch but also the phone itself, so you can't really lock the settings.

4. But is there anyway you guys can update it with an option that allows you to turn off the pin/pattern? If not, at least raise the pin keys and the pattern lock up more, so it's not directly on my fingerprint scanner? Or maybe have it so we can customize the appearance of our own lock screen to our liking? That'd be even more spectacular.

7. It is not like the other app locks! Im suprised that this one was different and actually works and i think more people should really use this app! I love the theme and the way it adds a backup password feature so when you forget your password you can use the backup password.

1. Fix AppLock Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart AppLock: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the AppLock App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AppLock" » Open AppLock - Lock apps & Pin lock » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AppLock » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear AppLock - Lock apps & Pin lock app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AppLock servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AppLock - Lock apps & Pin lock" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check AppLock app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AppLock might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall AppLock. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AppLock then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AppLock not working

2. Fix AppLock Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AppLock be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AppLock not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AppLock may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
