1. There have been a few instances where I neglect to change submission from "No submission" and don't have access to a computer right away but have students waiting on me to correct this.For the most part it makes it convenient with checking in on students, grading, etc... a couple of annoyance: PLEASE adjust the settings so we can copy text.

2. Grading is especially cumbersome as you grade a question you have to click on the box where you assign the score, then tell open up the devices keyboard, then tell your device you need the number and not letter pad.

3. Some of the assignments are online text submissions, and they all open fine on desktop, so I can't figure out what is giving the Android app such trouble.Don't expect it to match up with the browser version.

4. It's not very handy when using a tablet and pen to grade, doesn't represent all of the features on the website, and although that is clunky as Blackboard it really has a lot of disorganized functionality and feature quirks.

5. The developers need to have a roundtable with teachers to discuss where Canvas falls short, mostly with the app!!Amazing to have the ability to edit content and make announcements on mobile plus the ability to quickly grade! So grateful for this capability.

6. Ps Wow, they listened to feedback and added modules!!! It was the biggest gap in the prior version and now it's there and very useful.Works great for grading on the go... Until it freezes my phone.

7. Edit: still really clunky, but now with the added bonus of frequently crashing while I'm trying to read assignments my students turned in through Canvas.

1. Fix Canvas Teacher Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Canvas Teacher: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Canvas Teacher App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Canvas Teacher" » Open Canvas Teacher » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Canvas Teacher » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Canvas Teacher app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Canvas Teacher servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Canvas Teacher" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Canvas Teacher app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Canvas Teacher might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Canvas Teacher. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Canvas Teacher then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Canvas Teacher not working

2. Fix Canvas Teacher Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Canvas Teacher be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Canvas Teacher not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Canvas Teacher may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
