Why should I report an Issue with Canvas Polls?

2. Also, when submitting the poll to multiple sections it has severe lag when trying to start or stop the poll and does not accurately reflect the total number of students in each section.

3. The app has great potential and, as an instructor, I would prefer to use a Canvas app versus other options.No information about results or participation is shared with your Canvas course, which makes it almost useless.

4. Would be great if the instructor could see how many students voted for each response and if students could edit an answer before the poll closes.

At the moment, Socrative does it much better.It is an interesting application however my professor and I thought that it would deserve 5 if it showed us how many people voted and if there was an options that the teacher can choose to allow the students to change their answers.App works fine but polls are too limited to be very useful in most cases.

1. Fix Canvas Polls Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Canvas Polls: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Canvas Polls App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Canvas Polls" » Open Canvas Polls » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Canvas Polls » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Canvas Polls app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Canvas Polls servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Canvas Polls" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Canvas Polls app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Canvas Polls might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Canvas Polls. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Canvas Polls then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Canvas Polls not working

2. Fix Canvas Polls Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Canvas Polls be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Canvas Polls not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Canvas Polls may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
