EWPE Smart Customer Insights

1. If I could return the a/c I would since there is basically nothing smart about this app.At first it work just fine, but one day decide that it wouldn't work anymore and since I try every troubleshooting and resetting the AC unit and nothing still doesn't work, update, they fix the app and it work great for awhile but now the same thing happening again it won't connect I check everything and it won't find the wifi really? I change the bandwidth and still nothing this is the most unreliable app ever!!!Very disappointing, because it works well, but it drains my phone's battery to an extent that I had to uninstall it.

2. I've went back to a much earlier version from early 2022 that still had the Air function and doesn't require you to wait before opening AC and it works much better but still disconnects very often and when I leave the house.Could be quite good if not all connectivity issues.

3. Works fine right after connecting devices, but after a couple of days/weeks it fails to connect to my AC devices, shows that they're Disconnected or just doesn't turn them on when requested.

4. Also the latest versions are missing the Air function and you need to wait 5+ seconds after opening the app before you press on your AC in order not to get a network error.

5. Any thoughts? Your email support doesn't work!It took 2 hours, several tries and lots of patience to pair the app with 3 AC split units.

6. The apps works, but when I connect from the internet, one of the split appears as switched on for a few seconds, before the app shows the actual state of the split, even if it is actually switched off.

7. Whenever I press the icon for my air condition to see the settings I have to wait for a minute or two as it shows it's loading before finally saying "network rewuest time out".

8. Another problem though is it won't start without storage & media and location permissions, and I can't imagine why it would need those to control an AC unit.connecting via mobile data from different places is really difficult.

9. I will keep an eye on battery consumption and overall functionalities and update the review accordinglyFirst I wasn't able to complete setup and I gave up.

10. What's interesting is that I have two ACs (split), and usually one of them stops working, while the other one is OK.The app has connectivity problems after the last update and can't connect to toyotomi acs.

11. Very annoying: the first times I thought the split was actually on!The app disconnects a lot, especially if I leave the house and try to use it through data connection.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix EWPE Smart Issues

1. Fix EWPE Smart Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart EWPE Smart: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the EWPE Smart App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "EWPE Smart" » Open EWPE Smart » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for EWPE Smart » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear EWPE Smart app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from EWPE Smart servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "EWPE Smart" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check EWPE Smart app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, EWPE Smart might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall EWPE Smart. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall EWPE Smart then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing EWPE Smart not working


2. Fix EWPE Smart Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make EWPE Smart be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to EWPE Smart not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, EWPE Smart may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Dear Support Service! I am looking for solutions how to set silent mode as a default. Whenever my guests adjust the temperature by a remote control, strong and loud ventilation starts on my airco and I have to override it with the Ewpe Smart app manually. Could you send me an easy manual how I could set silent mode (silent for the external unit primarily) as a default? The airco is a Nord NWH18ALD-K6DNA model, has sleep/silent functions and well connected to your app. Many thanks in advance, kind regards, Andrea

  • Hello, i have some problem updating firmware for the internal module. It says that there is a netork timeout, but I can manage it through the app so internet connection is present. In two split i have v3.76 and the new firmware is V3.77. One one the tird i have v3.75 and the serve version is v3.74. But i trial. Last question i would like to turn off the beep when i send command to split via wifi. thanks

  • Hey. After new update both Ewpe and Gree+ app, I can't use timer function with my head pump Altech Sirius 9K. I have 2 pumps. Both worked fine before update off app. Please fix problem and report back when it's done thanks.

  • I can no longer connect my AC to the app.

  • Hello!

    I entered app and saw that my account is logged out. Tried to log in but there appears icon saying "please check the box to agree to the terms of service" but there is no box ar anything else I could press to agree. So huge problem- cannot log in at all. Please contact me asap or improve your app.

  • I'm trying to add a new AC to the app.
    The app is unable to detect it, and when trying to add it manually - I connect to the hot spot provided by the AC, but the app always crashes after trying to return to it.

  • Hi. No info of the devices is shown after the app start. Only white icons of the devices are shown. If trying to click on any icon to select a device, invisible settings are changed whithout showing what was changed. But the device responds with beeps.

    I am writing to you because I have recently installed a Cosner Air Conditioner and I am having problems using the wifi connection.



    So far I have been able to pair it with the application following Cosner’s client support and then the steps on the application. However, once I try to click on the AC that I paired, the app seems to get stuck uploading information in order to control the air conditioner.



    Would you be able to guide me through the steps in order to make it work?

I tried multiple times to login to the application, and multiple times to get a verification code from the app. It always said it send one and not once did I get a verification code sent. Now my account is locked out for 3 hours, but it doesn't matter because I can't remember my password and the application isn't sending me a verification code. I'm the owner of the minisplits added so I NEED to get back in to manage them. Please help

  • Hello,
    My A/C unit is in Slovenia and I want to turn it on while I am in Panama with the app. It was working great before I left. I even tried setting my VPN to Slovenia. Is there a reason I can't do this from another country?
