1. I want my wallpaper and lock screen to stay my own choices, I downloaded this to only be used as a widget around 5 x 4 icons large.Wow what a find! I was looking for something like this rigorously since the last 3 years! My Windows Phone had Bing but I did not care for daily updates on wallpapers back then.But after I bought an android it was just a bunch of dull and repetitive Google wallpapers,nasty.Since then i have been scouring the app Store for an app like this,I tried instagram too,another unsatisfying experience,smh.I will recommend this app to others, and yes the photos are from nat geo.It's simple, easy & Good.

2. With the update to Chrome OS 97, Android on Chrome was changed (from running in a Virtual Machine to a Container, I believe? This move had it's own problems, which appear to be fixed in Chrome 98?) which has made the App unusable on Chrome OS.

3. Works perfectly! What a delight to be surprised by an amazing picture every day!nice app but for some reasons does not update the lock screen even though it is set correctly in the settings.

4. Where it always had problems (like building a backlog of unexecuted wallpaper updates, then executing them all when "woken up"?) But still liked the basic philosophy of how it operates.

5. I'm using Nova Launcher, and it indeed wasn't able to set lock screen wallpaper either.

1. Fix Photo of the Day Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Photo of the Day: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Photo of the Day App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Photo of the Day" » Open Photo of the Day » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Photo of the Day » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Photo of the Day app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Photo of the Day servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Photo of the Day" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Photo of the Day app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Photo of the Day might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Photo of the Day. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Photo of the Day then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Photo of the Day not working

2. Fix Photo of the Day Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Photo of the Day be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Photo of the Day not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Photo of the Day may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
