1. Suggestions?I would like to use this app every time I listen to music as I really do enjoy the amplified sound and bass effect that it creates... Unfortunately though because of constant crashes, songs randomly stopping constantly, getting logged out of whatever music service you choose, and a horribly designed play queue system, I only have the patience to use it once or twice a week when I'm actively using my phone so I can keep hitting play and reopening the app after crashes.Because I am moderately hard of hearing (in the high frequency ranges), I use the Boom 3D app.
2. (Interestingly, the Jabra headset's accompanying app comes with a basic equalizer that does work with Google Podcasts, but it is insufficient to correct the sound to my hearing like Boom used to.) On the number of apps where Boom reliably works on my phone, its equalizing effect is completely shut down by any notification sounds.
3. Over time, though, I have run into perplexing problems that I believe were inadvertently caused by Android system updates and remain unresolved by Global Delight (note that _all_ of these issues were encountered over one of my many Bluetooth headsets… the latest of which are my Jabra Elite 75t Active): Boom *completely stopped working* with the Google Podcasts app.
4. I would not be lying by saying that after trying close to 50 different music playing apps Boom efx is the only one that has a noticeable difference in sound.
5. This is really the first time I have written any reviews for the Boom app for Android. This app has changed my music listening experience forever.
6. Even after update 2.7.11 - with Tidal albums, when a song starts playing Boom plays the music for 2 minutes or so, then the song will stop playing.
7. But the "free" use then runs out and it prompts for an upgrade - I'd love to, but it doesn't work! There's also no Android TV app for the Shield.I like the different effects you can add to really being out the best in the music.
8. When that happens in order to restore the sound setting, the user must quit the app on the phone entirely and then restart it.
9. I do find it really frustrating, however, that you can't simply touch the rewind button and have it restart the song, I like to listen to songs a more than once and this is a bit annoying that I have to open the app and use the slider if I want to restart the song.Ok I'm giving you 5 stars because I absolutelyove this app.
10. On my phone, Boom *initially* worked exactly as it should… it worked on virtually all the audio my phone was able to produce.
11. Boom has no effect whatsoever on the sound the Podcasts app puts out.
when playing my music with your app in a playlist the music jumps from one playlist
to another from pop to classical for no particular reason.
