1. While you play the lessons you will intuitively understand how to read music. - You will see animations that visually show how to play your part on the Electric Bass. - You will see animations of the notes on the staff to help you understand how to read music in an easy way, while you play. - You can listen the whole band to get an idea of the final result. - You can play at a slow speed and just listen to your instrument. - When you are ready go to the “d” section and play it while you listen the rest of the band.
2. Start playing Rock, Blues, Jazz and other contemporary styles on Bass Guitar.
3. You don´t have to know guitar chords to know how to play the Bass.
4. Playing the Electric Bass Guitar can be easier than playing Electric Guitar or Acoustic Guitar.
5. One of the main differences between these instruments is that guitar strings are thiner than Bass Guitar strings.
6. With this app you don´t need to know how to read music.
7. You have to integrate your part to the ensemble. - While practicing you can click on the bar from which you want to repeat.
8. It shows you through animations what you have do with your fingers.
9. If you know guitar scales it will help you playing the Bass Guitar but it´s not needed on this app.
1. Total bummer, I was looking forward to giving it a try.Just now downloaded app and started to play along with the first couple of rock riffs I understand from reading, D tab is whole band except bass, A tab is bass part, not sure B,C? Forgive me if this is explained to somewhere else I just couldn't find it thanks Btw.
2. I get what you're doing with the neck of the guitar but I'll have to agree with others, it is a little confusingFretboard is the wrong way round.. All other tutorial books etc is the other way, confusing.. Maybe so but we look at our bass from the top and All tutorials are the other way round.. You are wrong..Just downloaded this app and it looks OK for learning some riffs.
3. Better than various other basic bass learning apps. You need to turn the guitar other way around.
4. The score looks like it's written a couple of octaves higher than the fret animation shows though....Only basic training of a few loops, but it is free and set up very nicely, I will try out the paid version.
5. The slow down button b is not slow at all for a begginer the tab display moves too fast even in slow mode! If you don't want to fix the tempo issue then at a least provide the tabs separately.
6. Sure, as was mentioned, rock and blues provide a better ease of entry, but for this app to really be useful, it needs to still have more fine control of the tempo.
7. Even if I try to slow it down by pressing b it is still too fast to see the tabs! You have to let the user go at their own tempo or pace.
8. You shouldn't expect much from a free app, but just having speed settings of regular and slow is not sufficient.
9. That way the user can learn on their own and play with the track later. There is a lack of many options to consider this app worthy.
10. If I want to practice - your detail must be like looking the guitar from above.
11. You can't decrease or increase the tempo...and well, the look in general is ugly.App won't even open.
