1. I find it has made me more considerate and careful, so rechcing the stress of driving.I downloaded the app and when I try to register as a new user I added my email and clicked accept terms and conditions nothing happens.

2. I don't mind the fact that you have to disable all these settings, for it to run in the background, if you want to keep using it with your screen locked etc, but I'd like to be able to tell it WHEN I'm starting my journey and not auto-detect it.

3. I'm not driving every time i get in a car, sometimes I'm a passenger, so i dont want the app to track first, waste my battery and then tell it that I wasn't driving.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Drive Safe Issues

1. Fix Drive Safe Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Drive Safe: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Drive Safe App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Drive Safe" » Open Drive Safe » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Drive Safe » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Drive Safe app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Drive Safe servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Drive Safe" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Drive Safe app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Drive Safe might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Drive Safe. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Drive Safe then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Drive Safe not working


2. Fix Drive Safe Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Drive Safe be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Drive Safe not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Drive Safe may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
