1. Other issues are it would sure be nice if people using the app in the field (not the office) could have access to adjust site notes, add in model/serial #s, have access to previously attached pictures on previous tickets.The app is useful for quick submission of timecards.

2. I have to waste an hour every week just trying to submit my time because their software and servers are so terrible.The app has a lot of functions that would be helpful.

3. I truly believe that a small group of middle schoolers could code better time card software given a semester of time and a spec sheet.

4. It imports all the timecard information (start and stop times, mandatory meal break, job, Cody code, number of hours, etc,) into our server and we have several options to sort and select what we're importing and can make changes corrections at the server level of and when necessary.

5. I waste a ridiculous amount of time searching through the sheet looking for submissions, and because each guy has to do at least four a day there are a lot to go through.I disagree with all the negatives comments.

6. Waste a lot of time trying to check on whether or not time was properly submitted.

7. Besides time cards, there are report options available including daily log and submitted time.

8. For starters, you can't account for more than one code at a time.

9. Once an employee re-enters their time and sends it I get both entries.

10. I wouldn't touch this if I was paying.Foundationsoft is pretty much the worst software company on Earth.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Foundation Field Log Issues

1. Fix Foundation Field Log Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Foundation Field Log: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Foundation Field Log App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Foundation Field Log" » Open Foundation Field Log » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Foundation Field Log » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Foundation Field Log app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Foundation Field Log servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Foundation Field Log" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Foundation Field Log app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Foundation Field Log might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Foundation Field Log. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Foundation Field Log then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Foundation Field Log not working


2. Fix Foundation Field Log Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Foundation Field Log be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
