1. There support is great as well, it's been more than worth purchasing, I use Qobuz streaming service and Flac files on my phone through the app.I didn't think using UAPP with Qobuz would be all that different than using the Qobuz app, but I was very wrong about that.

2. Couple of features that I'd like to see: - ability to play saved offline songs from Tidal - search history for easier navigation - optimized overall performance I'll update my rating once these issues are addressed.

3. Otherwise very happy with the sound and the interface for the most part.For playing hi res audio (sample rate < 48k, bit depth < 16) on Android, especially with an external DAC, then this is the killer app.

4. Never a problem with using with different DACs etc...I wouldn't waste my time or money with the offerings in the play store.I've been using this app for years.

5. You'll get used to the UI.This app appears to be excellent in terms of sound quality (thank you), but the reason I'm not giving it a higher rating is because sometimes it displays the wrong song playing.

6. I eventually found, I think, the setting that allows me to scroll through songs , when hooked by BT to my car audio, but nothing I have found so far fixes the audio volume, ie, very low at times and very loud at others, this despite playing with Gain settings.

7. It seems the Android kernel and stock audio driver cannot handle higher resolutions, even though some hardware can.

8. The sound is much more "alive" in UAPP, which might be due to it sending the stream directly to my external DAC (no Android sound processing).

9. Fix that one issue and you get 5 stars.Very good player, let down by the player interface which I find cumbersome in comparison to others, eg Neutron Player.

10. Check Extream's web site for more information and to download a trial version, as not all Android versions and various hardware will work.

11. I use bit perfect mode when possible and that way it doesn't down sample Hi-res files since android natively does that and this app will bypass android.
