1. One flaw is that even if your phone is muted it still says "location found".Love, love, love this app! I needed a GPS app with good satellite imagery, a map that would stay "tracking up" and not "north always up", one that would show and save my tracks as I walked the trails, and then one that would guide me back to those trails should I venture off-trail.

2. I have tried to recalibrate the phone itself but still no luck! Loved the app, prior to this issue! HelpThis app has a lot of potential however it is inconsistent in the respect that it shuts down all by itself even when I'm recording a track and being that that's one of the biggest features I downloaded this app for oh, I had to go ahead and delete it and Switchback the everlanceWorks great on my Phone.

3. Please let us choose what type of map source we need (also download for offline use) as in case of traveling to no signal areas, we are able to use the map.

1. Fix GPS Compass Navigator Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart GPS Compass Navigator: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the GPS Compass Navigator App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GPS Compass Navigator" » Open GPS Compass Navigator » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GPS Compass Navigator » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear GPS Compass Navigator app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GPS Compass Navigator servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GPS Compass Navigator" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check GPS Compass Navigator app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GPS Compass Navigator might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall GPS Compass Navigator. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GPS Compass Navigator then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GPS Compass Navigator not working
