PASS Customer Insights

1. EDIT: Changed from 1 star to 5 stars as after the latest update ALL problems listed below were fixed! Amazing work Pass system team, the app is very smooth to use now! (having to keep logging in every half hour;putting in this long password twice.

2. - No option to update the data on device without logging out and logging back in (current patient update would be good too).After using the App for a very long time, noticed that it starts to get worst instead of improving every time when updated.

3. Please upgrade or use a device with a supported operating system" Really? I have a Samsung Galaxy S6.Keep logging out, need typing password so many times, every 5 minutes Fingerprint log in would be helpful and needed.

4. Also the financial sheet area for the customers signature used to be able to turn my phone and it would enlarge, now there's only a small window and it won't change when turned so most of my clients aren't able to sign anymore as it's too small)This latest update is more of a downdate.

5. xIts easy to use but its so fiddly....like i dont understand why each task cant be on the same screen to tick yes, rather than individually going into every section to tick yes over and over..surely it could all be on one check list then all information could be wrote in the notes part instead.

6. I also think that app should give notifications if new calls are added to pass so that we are aware- makes lives easier and less chance of missing calls.The effort to improve over the last year is noticeable in some areas but still a lot to work on.

7. What I really like about this app is the fact that throughout the relevant care appointment, I can continuously amend and update my care notes until I'm satisfied that all the information has been recorded accurately.

8. I understand its for security but its very time consuming in a job that you dont have much time in.I have been using this app for two weeks now and it's assisted me greatly in organising my care appointments throughout the week.

9. Namely : - No support for biometric auth (useful even when resuming sessions (expire quickly and often you have to type it twice to resume) - unable to view typed password on all screens (even though it's possible on some screens where it was not possible previously).

10. Need logging in every minute now and even after you type your notes it will ask you at the end to enter password.

11. Useless design, you need to scroll down whole list every time after leaving app even for a second.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix PASS Issues

1. Fix PASS Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart PASS: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the PASS App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "PASS" » Open PASS » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for PASS » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear PASS app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from PASS servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "PASS" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check PASS app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, PASS might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall PASS. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall PASS then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing PASS not working


2. Fix PASS Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make PASS be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to PASS not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, PASS may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
