1. According to VMax's own help line (thanks Brad), you will need to download a separate file service app to find it! Good luck hunting! Basically this company is running by the 'ol Blackberry Phone means of survival: large commercial/corporate contracts with outdated tech and little-to-no means of updating the interface.Like the fact that I can check out my cameras where ever I am, as long as I have a cell connection or on wifi, always connects.

2. You guys really need to fix your cracked issues expediently.If you're considering installing cameras, and the salesperson says "Oh yes! It goes straight to your phone! ...We use Watchdog's VMax!" Kick that salesperson in the teeth and throw him out.

3. This app needs a lot of work.I'm a professional installer /dealer and,if anyone has connection,issues with the app on,connecting please check all your network settings in the NVR.

4. Very frustrating....Good, but now? This app was working fine, but 2 days ago, it stopped working, unless my phone is on wifi.

5. Doesn't work off of mobile data.This app is not good for viewing or getting into DVR to view cameras.

6. The problem is the PNG image has then been saved to an area of your phone incongruous with your phone's interface.

1. Fix VMAX Plus Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart VMAX Plus: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the VMAX Plus App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "VMAX Plus" » Open VMAX Plus » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for VMAX Plus » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear VMAX Plus app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from VMAX Plus servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "VMAX Plus" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check VMAX Plus app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, VMAX Plus might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall VMAX Plus. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall VMAX Plus then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing VMAX Plus not working

2. Fix VMAX Plus Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make VMAX Plus be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to VMAX Plus not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, VMAX Plus may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
