1. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, I've refreshed the page I've cleared cache for the app and the app still doesn't work.The cart page is a complete pain and makes me want to forget about ordering anything I added.

2. It's very inconvenient because I want to do curbside pickup & have to have a working app for that!! When it works, it's ok.This app has potential, but it is a pain to remove/edit items in your cart, or to 'heart' an item.

3. Once at checkout, there seems to be glitch that keeps accidentally opening up the item detail page while you are just scrolling down the list of items in the basket.

4. It's very touchy when scrolling, items slide to the side when I don't want them to, and I can't for the life of me just touch an item to view it again; it constantly just slides to the side for deleting/adding a a favorite.

5. The app does show if my local store has an item in stock, and the points bonus for completing certain tasks is nice.

6. I closed the app, reopened, got stuck on the load screen, forced closed, then it asked me to sign in and didn't have my cart items.

7. The search filter doesn't work correctly, shows items that aren't available in the size needed.

8. This is the second time since the app has been updated you've lost a sale because the app doesn't work correctly.AVOID the app.

9. I have a whole cart of items, and as I was browsing through them, it kept moving them to the side as if I was going to delete them or save for later.

10. Sometimes it deletes all my points and then they appear again after force closing and restarting a couple times.i don't have time to call technical support to fix this issue.i have reinstalled the app and updated it with no change.

11. I've been trying to order a few items since The beginning of April and now at the end I'm still having issues.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix carter's Issues

1. Fix carter's Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart carter's: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the carter's App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "carter's" » Open carter's » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for carter's » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear carter's app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from carter's servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "carter's" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check carter's app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, carter's might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall carter's. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall carter's then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing carter's not working


2. Fix carter's Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make carter's be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to carter's not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, carter's may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
