Hubby found it on the radio and I got the app.I do love this station and the people that run the station but I have noticed that the station is so strong that it overrides everything on my phone if I turn everything off including Joy FM it will come back on after I look at something or I have a phone call it'll just start playing all by itself but that in no way takes away from the radio station so because I listen to it morning or night and sometime when I don't even try and listen to it it's a little annoying but not that muchWhen I open the app to listen to music it only plays for about 30 seconds then cuts out.

2. I removed the application, went to the web site and added an icon for the streaming page to the home screen.Android Auto launches the app great, BUT the app will play on the phone if you launch another app after disconnecting from the car.Great station, horrible app! Does not reliably play.

3. I'm just happy to be able to listen to Christian Music, w/DJ's that praises our Lord, instead of the garbage that's out there.. I PTL, that we have a station like JOY to listen to in the car & @ home.

1. Fix The JOY FM Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart The JOY FM: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the The JOY FM App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "The JOY FM" » Open The JOY FM » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for The JOY FM » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear The JOY FM app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from The JOY FM servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "The JOY FM" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check The JOY FM app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, The JOY FM might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall The JOY FM. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall The JOY FM then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing The JOY FM not working

2. Fix The JOY FM Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make The JOY FM be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to The JOY FM not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, The JOY FM may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
