1. Working for an Aruba Partner and having multiple customers, can't even dream on an option to select the Aruba Central Zone and Client to use for the session if the simplified interface doesn't even work.Scan of barcodes does not work.

2. Latest update allows sign in but then says no customer foundCant actually login using Android - just sits on the login screen with a endless blue circle.

3. We tried various iPhone or Android (Sony Ericsonn) devices, but we were not able to scan code even on direct daylight.

4. Using PC and a browser is the only valid tool, and trying to use the app with more than 5-10 AP's is hopeless.This app is really useful when it is working but without giving any error sometimes it donot load the equioment information.

5. Same details work fine on iPhone.Just sits on initializing, occasionally it loads, but even then can only scan in ap's.

6. I know 0 coding and could've made a better app with one of those pre-built drag and drop app makers.. it's actually pretty embarrassing that a multi billion dollar company has their name on this.Never finishes sign in.

7. Aruba Central itself is one of the biggest "bill of false goods" I've ever seen.

8. i think it is time to udate the app wirh reported/known problems since last update in Mar 2020.Yeah.. it's pretty horrible.

9. Central itself is very buggy, missing countless key features, and every action requires you to navigate through 10 pages.

10. I have to reinstall almost every time I want to give it an opportunity to change my mind, gets stuck at initiating.

11. I was not able to scan any bar codes, either on shipping box or device itself.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Aruba Central Issues

1. Fix Aruba Central Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Aruba Central: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Aruba Central App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Aruba Central" » Open Aruba Central » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Aruba Central » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Aruba Central app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Aruba Central servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Aruba Central" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Aruba Central app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Aruba Central might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Aruba Central. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Aruba Central then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Aruba Central not working


2. Fix Aruba Central Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Aruba Central be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Aruba Central not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Aruba Central may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
