1. It will not be replacing my other units on my boat but it was fun to use while fishing from shore.Update: the developer responded to emails and has indicated that there is an issue with Android users connecting to the military sonar device.

2. App upgraded sometime before Father's Day fishing trip and now can't find the bottom, can't find fish, the screen will not scroll so part of the menu is not accessible.

3. Did the military one get phased out? I connect using an iPhone but not the Android.Only connects for 10-20 min then disconnects.and then trying to reconnect it takes about another 10 min for it to work right.

5. When the app messes up and reverts to the login screen you're in the field and don't have wifi internet which keeps you from signing in and using your equipment.

6. Interested to see how my phone battery does running the app ice fishing.I remember this app working a LOT better on an older version of samsung I thing S5, now S10+.

7. I fished mostly under 10ft of water and the depth seemed accurate and the sonar screen updated consistently.

8. I Uninstalled and reinstalled with no change.Change the app so you don't need to be signed in to use your fishhunter or at least so you don't need wifi internet to sign in to your account.

9. Is this still an active app and device? These days I'm constantly greeted with the message, "Could not get maps authorization so tiles may not load.

10. Can you include that in your directions? Also- if your fishing 10 ft of water and the flasher is showing more orange, click on the 33ft again.

1. Fix Fishhunter Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Fishhunter: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Fishhunter App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Fishhunter" » Open Fishhunter - Portable Fish Fin » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Fishhunter » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Fishhunter - Portable Fish Fin app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Fishhunter servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Fishhunter - Portable Fish Fin" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Fishhunter app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Fishhunter might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Fishhunter. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Fishhunter then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Fishhunter not working

2. Fix Fishhunter Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Fishhunter be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Fishhunter not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Fishhunter may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
