1. Overall, a disappointing app for my brand new (and rather pricey) Carrier furnace and AC.The negative comments are somewhat true (except "can't backspace." That works for me), however there are work-arounds: the keyboard DOES cover the user-id and password fields, but you can make the keyboard "floating" and move it around the screen.
2. On my phone that causes the keypad to cover the user name and password boxes.Awful. App only works in landscape mode on my galaxy note 8.
3. So that when you position your phone in portrait mode the app is the new version and when you position your phone in landscape mode, the app reverts back to the original version and everyone is happy (well almost everyone).I don't normally rate Apps.
4. Update: Its been just over a year since my original review, still horrible but now it hasn't been updated in over a year.Unreliable connections - the app thinks it's connected, but status hasn't been updated in over a week nor is the wall unit connected to the carrier network.
5. It resembles the Infinity Touch thermostat and that's how I like it! The OBVIOUS answer to the debate as to whether we should switch to the new version of the app or stay with the original version is to MERGE THEM BOTH TOGETHER.
6. Keyboard takes up the part of the screen where you would re-enter the wrong password and it just won't let you clear the box and re-enter.
7. Basically it gives you a stretched image of what the thermostat displays and let's you control it from your phone.
8. This one forces landscape view on the phone and never switches to profile view.
9. However, I don't see a way to exit the App or switch to my phone's main screen once this App is active.
10. Zero stars.Update: For the energy cost calculation, the setting does not allow for cubic feet, just cubic meters.
11. Once logged in, the screen looks identical to the thermostat screen.
