1. You can't move spending between two buckets unless there's enough money to cover it in both, so moving big things like rent between buckets can't happen if you're poor.
2. The app does not recognize credentials each time I change my password, and the only option to get a security code is either via text (which doesn't work for VoIP mobile phones, e.g. Google voice) or by calling the help line and waiting for assistance.
3. Haven't even received my first statement either by mail or electronically 🤷🏼 ♀️Almost perfect! I don't normally leave reviews for apps but the Ally account has helped me enjoy saving.
4. This is a deal breaker for me and, unless it's fixed soon, I'll move my money elsewhere.Latest updates are now pushing Spending Buckets.
5. When I click on an account, it pops me into a spending buckets tab instead of my transactions.
6. Too often I am getting errors in this app that certain features aren't available, such as spending buckets, and I've to restart the app.
7. Now I get 6 duplicate email notifications regarding changes (info is still the same) and when I go anywhere but the first screen in the app, it gives me an "error try again later" Seems the mandatory merge into this app was premature and the bugs should have been worked out first.
8. Speaking of spending buckets, I've been using them for months and they're frustrating.
9. It just puts me into spending buckets tab, even I don't use the feature.
10. The fact that I can allocate my money to things shows me exactly how much money I have saved up for a certain category and it helps me to not touch it.
11. But haven't had a problem so far!Full disclosure I gave this app one star because of the spending bucket thing.
