Understand that reporting an issue won't instantaneously fix it, but just give it a little time!****UPDATE: This app was recently updated and all the issues with not being able to lock in a location have been fixed and the app is now working perfectly I have changed my rating to 5 stars.**** This app used to work great.

2. Until you can get it to accept a location, you can't even enter an issue.The city needs the eyes and ears of the residents, and I love this app to get city info and report issues that I see easily.

3. The login interface could be adjusted to work a little more smoothly, but I like the ability to report from my phone and it's easy to move the location of the GPS arrow to approximate the issue's specific location.

Looking forward to using this app to improve the city.According to city code official + experiences utilizing app - following are my observations: The status term "Completed" does not necessarilly mean any work, abatement, notice, or schedule, to accomplish or resolve submitted item, has or will occur.

5. Now I can't because this doesn't work....STILL!! When is this going to be fixed??? It's a vital tool for residents to be involved in keeping this city livable & now the place is going downhill.After reading reviews to go on this app for local service requests, I initially thought it would be much easier.

6. Now, the GPS function doesn't work (it's no where close), it won't allow for the manual location entry.

7. There is not even a bloody 'login'... After you complete the form (which is severely broken) if you select "skip" at the create account page, that you're forced onto, then it will error, wiping ALL entered data; returning you to the main screen.

8. Leave request for potholes and dozens of other common issues, plus information on who to call if your request isn't on their prepopulated menu of possible issues.

9. In the location selection tool, the check looking location selection button won't do anything.

10. When asked for the location of the issue, you can't choose or search anything.

11. My report will not let me add a location, which is required for submission of the report.

1. Fix GoCOS! Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart GoCOS!: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the GoCOS! App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GoCOS!" » Open GoCOS! » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GoCOS! » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear GoCOS! app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GoCOS! servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GoCOS!" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check GoCOS! app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GoCOS! might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall GoCOS!. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GoCOS! then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GoCOS! not working

2. Fix GoCOS! Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GoCOS! be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GoCOS! not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GoCOS! may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
