App2Cam Plus Customer Insights

1. And would highly recommend it to friends!Doesn't work prperly too complicatedAfter one year the camera (Abus TVAC19100A) simply lost connection to the internet and was very difficult to connect to the internet again thanks to an update that support provided.

2. - fix the recording option from the live menu: currently it's possible to start it, but impossible to stop it Thank you!Often connection errors when not directly connected to the same WiFi, which is even more important, to have a reliable connection over Mobile Data.

3. And the rating notification even after rating the app, is annoying.Its very slow and always poor connection although it is w two usually good internet connections/locations.

4. Seldom allowing me to move the camera due to poor connection even i have the best internet.

5. The app is really a problem for your company.Update: after the software update I can't connect anymore to the camera and have no instructions what to do.

6. Do you always need to save new settings? Or is that just refering to the first screen with the 3 options? Seems like unfinished programming.It has good parts, but also a lot of room for improvement.

7. Why is it not possible to use the app in landscape mode?! After forcing to landscape it is impossible to arm/disarm the camera.

8. Buy another brand of camera if you want secure connection.

9. Camera picks up static objects as people, alerts are false.

10. Some suggestions: - move/hide the recycle bin pictogram from the settings menu, as now it is quite risky to press it by mistake and delete the base station.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix App2Cam Plus Issues

1. Fix App2Cam Plus Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart App2Cam Plus: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the App2Cam Plus App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "App2Cam Plus" » Open App2Cam Plus » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for App2Cam Plus » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear App2Cam Plus app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from App2Cam Plus servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "App2Cam Plus" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check App2Cam Plus app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, App2Cam Plus might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall App2Cam Plus. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall App2Cam Plus then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing App2Cam Plus not working


2. Fix App2Cam Plus Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make App2Cam Plus be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to App2Cam Plus not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, App2Cam Plus may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
