1. Also, my challenge is for 2021 and it says "medals will be sent out Aug 2020"...I absolutely love medal mad & Receiving the awesome medals afterwards for my hard work, speers me on all the more to enter more challenges.

2. The only reason I give it 4 out of 5 stars is because the app keeps closing on use & Losing all the miles I'd previously ran, so I'm having to use alternate apps to record my evidence, other than that I can't fault it.I've been using the app now for just over 2 months and had no major issues.

3. I don't personally use it to track runs as I have 3rd party watches and apps to do that, but buying, viewing, tracking and updating the medals are done perfectly via the app.

4. I add mine manually from Strava as the apps own tracking doesn't work very well and the distance remaining is approx 6km out which means one of my rides didn't register properly but I have no idea which one.

5. I would give 6 stars if possible 😊Absolutely love the website and thought behind their medals to get you motivated.

6. Other than that the medals are great quality and the MM community is a good group to motivate you along the way.The app is ok.

7. Definitely keeps me on track and yes,,, ive spent a fortune on medals BUT worth every penny.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MedalMad Issues

1. Fix MedalMad Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MedalMad: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MedalMad App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MedalMad" » Open MedalMad » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MedalMad » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MedalMad app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MedalMad servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MedalMad" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MedalMad app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MedalMad might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MedalMad. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MedalMad then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MedalMad not working


2. Fix MedalMad Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MedalMad be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MedalMad not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MedalMad may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
