Thrift+ Customer Insights

1. No filters, so without them there's pages of pointless junk to scroll through, descriptions are non existent, photographs are worse, same items show as multiple colours, or photos show fading/marks not mentioned in the aforementioned descriptions.

2. It started fine but everytime I selected filters for size etc, it wouldn't load and then when it did it only showed like 10 products even though there was supposed to be like 3000 😂😭 then when I clicked a "sort by" filter, it clears all my other filters.

3. Have previously sold a few items but was very surprised when my items were bought by someone at huge discount due to a promotion Thrift was running.I think the app is great! I believe that with a few wee changes it would make the experience much better e.g. not being logged out constantly, increasing speed.

4. I'm also writing here because the search filter isn't working :/ it just shows you random items unrelated with the filters you put.

5. The app is good but not great because there is no FAQs nor any explanation about returns nor price of postage and if there is any way of getting postage for free (like spend £50 and get free delivery).

6. I also noticed pictures are changing colours of an item and sometimes size under description doesn't match what label says on the clothing! Which is quite bad.

7. Payment screen loops when playing by PayPal - after confirming payment in pay pal, it brings you back to the Thrift App but logged out.

8. The photos are horribly blurred at times and as others have mentioned on here an item can appear to be 3 different colours over 5 photos.

9. The condition of some of these items is questionable, everything listed as 'like new' appears to have some minor defect or other.

10. Tried to buy some clothes and after going to PayPal to pay it returned me to the start of the payment process and I got stuck in a loop.

11. The filtering system seems inadequate - I'm looking at a 29" pair of jeans but there's no detail showing what size the leg is.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Thrift+ Issues

1. Fix Thrift+ Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Thrift+: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Thrift+ App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Thrift+" » Open Thrift+ » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Thrift+ » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Thrift+ app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Thrift+ servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Thrift+" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Thrift+ app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Thrift+ might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Thrift+. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Thrift+ then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Thrift+ not working


2. Fix Thrift+ Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Thrift+ be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Thrift+ not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Thrift+ may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
