1. uSound for Samsung is a partnership between uSound and Samsung to develop a mobile application that allows you to perform an estimated hearing test and find out your risk of hearing loss for FREE.

2. After performing the estimation test, the user receives the result that can be compared with a hearing health professional directly from the application itself, since we ALWAYS recommend visiting and consulting with a registered hearing health professional, either privately or from the application.

3. At uSound we believe that consultation with a licensed hearing health care professional is very important, so we ALWAYS recommend contacting one of the network of professionals in the app, or privately.

4. Find the #ListenAtHome app and reconnect with that person you love. -The uSound for Samsung application allows you to get a quick estimate of your hearing level.

5. For cases that demonstrate some risk of hearing loss, uSound launched a campaign so that these moments of staying at home are ones of companionship, union and connection with our loved ones.

6. It does NOT replace medical audiometry. -We work together with medical teams and licensed hearing health professionals to ensure that we provide the best quality of service and experience for you.

1. Try it!Cannot use the app unless you give access to location services.. Why do you need that? No thanksAn amazing app.It shows me my real results of hearing.And also easy to use:-)Its nice to be able to check your hearing in private before going to a high priced specialist.

2. Will not give you results without an email.Requires too much personal info ... I checked the ratings & saw several similar complaints, developer replies that they need your email to get you updated, which is not an acceptable reason ... uninstalled ...It is a wonderful app to know how you can hear.

3. Always crashed after "finding a quiet place" and "continue".it was very helpful...just I have tinnitus and was a little hard trying to distinguish the ringing in my ears or was it the tone from the testRequires wired headphones.

4. Will not let me proceed anyway.This app requires waaay too much info and should not need location access permissions.

5. This is because wired headphones are reliable and are better able to technically have a broader range of sound.

6. And yes you will need wired headphones.

7. Guess what phones don't come with anymore? A headphone jack... can't use wired if I wanted to.

8. If you go into a hearing center they will never ever use wireless headphones.

9. It will always be wired.Didn't really get to use it.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix uSound Issues

1. Fix uSound Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart uSound: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the uSound App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "uSound" » Open uSound for Samsung - Hearing t » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for uSound » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear uSound for Samsung - Hearing t app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from uSound servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "uSound for Samsung - Hearing t" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check uSound app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, uSound might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall uSound. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall uSound then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing uSound not working


2. Fix uSound Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make uSound be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to uSound not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, uSound may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
