PhotoStudy Customer Insights

1. Customer service is also very good.Its a very good app that has gotten me outta tough problems doing homework, the people that assist you are very helpful and responsive to questions and will explain in full detail if youre confused or need assistance.It's good, but the free expert help session didn't work.

Actually, one thing I don't like about this app is that it only solves questions that are not in sentences, but by the way I still love the idea of what u thought about this app, I expect to see greater apps than this that can really save me from too much problemIt was working great at first (used it about 10 times), every tutor was helping but now all the pictures/graphics of the math equations or explanations are not appearing as the tutor tries to explain the problem.

3. Also, even if they actually do lose connection there needs to be an instant reupload instead of making us retype everything and take another screenshot of what we need help with.It would be nice if the app didn't keep having messages that say I gained a study session when I didn't.

4. However I wanted to see if it was an error or a choice not to answer the question, after the 15th disconnection I posted the same question with the answer off to the side and asking for verification and then I finally received an answer to the same question I had be disconnected from the same individual 15 times.

5. Apparently they can just claim to "lose connection" if they don't know how to answer your question or don't want to and they don't get penalized for it.

6. I've done the same problem three times and all three times it was not working.On average the experts "lose connection" over 4 times per daily usage.

7. Often, the tutors will forget a number in their solutions and get the answer wrong because of small mistakes like that.

8. It also would help if I didn't have to log out to gain a new study session.

9. But, its still very helpful!After several attempts to have a question answered I was disconnected.

10. Sometimes, all I want is a "yes or no" answer, not a whole damn explanation.

11. It's pretty impressive, at least I don't have problems with physics anymore At least all u have to do is to snap your questions and it will automatically be solved.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix PhotoStudy Issues

1. Fix PhotoStudy Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart PhotoStudy: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the PhotoStudy App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "PhotoStudy" » Open PhotoStudy - Live Study Help » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for PhotoStudy » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear PhotoStudy - Live Study Help app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from PhotoStudy servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "PhotoStudy - Live Study Help" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check PhotoStudy app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, PhotoStudy might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall PhotoStudy. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall PhotoStudy then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing PhotoStudy not working


2. Fix PhotoStudy Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make PhotoStudy be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to PhotoStudy not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, PhotoStudy may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
