1. NOTE that the app navigation menu was designed for a previous android version that did not display phone menu buttons at the bottom of the screen.
2. This Lent Bible study contains 40 days of Bible readings, reflections and prayers that will take you on a spiritual journey into the wilderness.
3. Into the Desert combines Australian history and literature with the centuries old wisdom of Desert monasticism.
4. Perfect for a Lent Study group or for individual reflection any time of the year.
5. Into the Desert is written by Celia Kemp.
6. You will need to work around this by using the TOP section of the navigation buttons within the app.
1. Second, down at the bottom where you can change screens between "sayings" and "pray" and so forth, it is at the same spot as my phone's navigation, so I end up pushing "home" instead of sayings three or four times before I get just the right spot. This app is a great blend of Scripture, quotes and prayer prompts.
2. Help!!!!You can't read the prayers and sayings on Android because there is no way to access it but the bottom of the screen which is the home and back button on Android, please fix!Excellent guided walk through Lent.
3. Having the sayings and prayer tabs at the bottom, where my back button is, means I keep coming out of the app every time I try to look at them.
4. I actually started waking up earlier because I was excited to begin my days with this devotional.I have reinstalled this app, I use it every lent and I lovee it, but I can't get the quote and prayer pages to load.
5. Two cons: I would like the ability to schedule the notification reminders to coincide with my regular devotional time.
6. I use and reuse it annually!I can't open the sayings and pray tab at the bottom of the screenA very professional-looking app & one that I would certainly recommend.
7. I'm so grateful to ABM for putting this app together, and to Celia for the content.A truly beautifully meditative Lent devotional.
8. The daily readings are short enough to easily assimilate into my devotional time.
9. Other than these two minor complaints, it's a great app and I might use it next year too.Great content but technically tricky.
10. Handy to use when one is out & about, to fill those hours of "down" time - such as when one is on the bus, or at a restaurant/café by oneself.
11. Each daily reflection is weighty, but short so you can go into as much depth as you have time for.
