1. It was really fast...I took the picture of the text, waited about 25 seconds or less, then it was done! Great job guys.... let me know if it gets cheaper at some point! Otherwise I have to go with A FREE Google translate.... 😞I'm sure this app is useful to someone who wants an all-in-one translator, but in my case, there are options that provide similar services without having to pay or subscribe.
2. Yes the translations are accurate, but I'm miffed that I don't get permanent access to a feature I already paid for, since at the time it was advertised as a one time payment for all the pro features.I was immediately met with the Seven Trial with no possibility of moving forward unless I signed up to pay $39.99 a year after said trial.
3. It also has a phrases category where you learn to speak on subject matters like traveling or being in a grocery store etc.. It's a great app so far for me and I've been using it for about 1 month I believe. The app started out well then somehow I ended up with a very high pitched and fast speaking voice.
4. However, I remember using a solid "always free" voice/text translator on my iPhone several years ago with numerous languages while I accessed "again free" when visiting Puerto Rico.
5. Didn't like that I had to sign up for a free trial just for that, mostly because I now have to cancel to prevent from being billed monthly.
6. Edit for clarification: Although the app is free, the more useful features like the photo translator, which I originally needed, require an in-app purchase.
7. You hit "start free trial" button and it pops up to pay for 1 year subscription.
8. Thanks.Just 1 mo after signing up for $4.99 MONTHLY subscription they billed $39 BAIT & SWITCH!! You can get past the pay wall by tapping the X in the top right corner....even tho every time you launch, it nags.
9. Photo translation feature is okay thoOnly needed this to translate a Chinese voicemail (was curious if it was spam or a wrong number).
10. You have to hit X on top right instead of "start free trial" button, it's like in a game ad with "try again" button that only take you to store.
11. As for the subscription, if this is something you would use on an infrequent basis, it would be much better to have a prepaid option to allow x number of translations per amount paid.It was really good, I just don't use it nearly enough to pay a staggering 39.99 a month for it.
I want a refund, i signed up for a free trial and it charged me $90.
Hi there iTranslate, with the due respect you deserve, please I'm approaching to you, in order if I can get my money back of a purchase I made today February 19th 2021, it's the first time I decide to use the Huawei mobile services, candidly I do not know as much in order to start operating this device, because recently Huawei set apart businesses with Google, you already know the whole story that Google banned Huawei to use its products and services (including the App Store), due to that reason the apps present failures each time we try to download an app from the "App Gallery", I'm not quite convince yet to keep using it or go back to Android, even worse by what happened to me today with your app "iTranslate", I was an unauthorized charged 141.39 soles, I dunno how much it is in dollars, or in your Austria current currency. Here in Perú is a huge amount of money, and please begged you to give me my money back, 24 hours the chance, you give us your users/costumers to claim, or to make a complainting letter. Please, I didn't recognize the way you operate, and I don't wanna have or hold any lawsuits against you, or be forced to terminate for good my affair with your company. That's why, I'm coming to you in order to present my case without forced wrestles. I'm coming peacefully asking for my money back, it was a mistake performing that purchase, and what about the free-trial you say you offer us before, your guidelines didn't explain that I was gonna be charged as soon as possible (instantly) after the purchase, you detail us that we'd have 7 days of trial, and afterwards we shall be charged from our debit card (our savings) we typed, you didn't also warn us that it's non-refundable, I don't wanna feel scammed, or fraud. Please help me out. I'm writing you from a Huawei device (very odd yet, and not plainly to be used by customers, please help me out, and downgrade me to free services, without being charged. To reinforce it, I don't wanna to terminate in a roughly manner my relationship with you.
Hope hearing back from you inmediately, as well as this issue be solved appropriately among both parties.
Bests,
