Phantom Customer Insights

1. Don't waste your time there are better wallets out there.Great wallet, nice simple features for managing and swapping your tokens.

2. But every time I try and connect 50% of the time it never works and the other 50% of the time when I do a swap it fails.

3. This is ridiculous Edit: this wallet just doesn't show up as being on my phone when trying to connect it to anything.After installing this app I quickly uninstalled it.

4. If you check the explorer manually the price is different, refreshing the app balance or even relaunch it doesn't help, it just doesn't read current price values properly.Excellent app.

5. This wallet was working great at first, but within just a day or two of using it, the swap stops working.

6. I can't understand how people successfully trade with thousands on the line and the swap just spins until it fails and the gains are long gone.

7. Fees are better shown in other wallets, NFT UI isnt bad, Dapps page does look nice a little clustered up no big problems.

8. To wait means to go back a thousand steps and it will take u serious effort and time to redeem the TIME.

9. I have plenty of SOL for the fees, toggle the slippage, ect, and it just randomly fails to swap.

10. Dont know what is wrong with your swap feature but may want to look into it.This exchange is so dodgy... its a scam.

11. After several attempts, finally sent sent SOL to Solflare and swap was instant.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Phantom Issues

1. Fix Phantom Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Phantom: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Phantom App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Phantom" » Open Phantom » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Phantom » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Phantom app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Phantom servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Phantom" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Phantom app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Phantom might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Phantom. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Phantom then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Phantom not working


2. Fix Phantom Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Phantom be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Phantom not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Phantom may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
