I wish they allowed applicants to continue using the normal applicaiton via the website, at leat we could scan and upload the necessary documents without going through the hustle of taking images.Does not scan anything, done it multiple times, still unsuccessfulAbsolutely terrible when it come for taking the photo.

2. I tried both my andoid phone and my wife's Iphone nothing work.The app kicks me out after scanning my passport chip, each new attempt requiring a multistep login process to access the online application, then the app, and then to connect the two.

3. Because the app gets the data from a server, when you are doing the NFC Chip verification step, make sure that you have a very good internet connection and good upload speed.

4. No photo seems to pass, even when meeting the guidelines, and then it just kicks you out of the app, forcing a complete restart of the whole process until you run out of attempts for the day.

5. Finally made it through to taking pictures after half an hour of aimlessly trying to scan for the chip.

6. If your home connection is not good, then try to complete the NFC Chip verification step somewhere with a very fast internet connection.

4. Check UK Immigration app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, UK Immigration might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall UK Immigration. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall UK Immigration then reinstall.
