SCAM!Do NOT pay for this app if you are wanting access to it's backup feature, "backing up" on this app downloads a zipped folder that you have to manually transfer to your new device, and then the app on the new device won't even accept the zipped folder! So i guess thats $4 down the draingreat app, keeps me up to date with all my debts and outstanding payments, ability to do recurring payments, payment due date, periodical payments, email and sms reminders, was such a handy app i bought the paid version to unlock extra features, app is 100 percent with the purchase price, has paid for itself many times over by causing me not to forget any outstanding debts... would give 10 stars if possible, number 1 app on my phone..this app is quite good actually.

2. It's missing a handful of small features (like being able to see a graph of debt over time, or having the recurring debts apply to an existing debt rather than creating a new entry) that would make this a truly great app.

3. Not very user friendly and I can't even send a simple email to the developers without having to enter a password and I am confused.The app is perfect for me because I just need a simple debt tracker which is exactly what this is.

4. I enter the first debt amount and set it as being due back then (30 Sept) and flag it as recurring on a weekly basis with the next debt scheduled on 7 Oct but it won't allow this to be a date prior to today.

5. I'd be willing to pay for Pro if that were implemented, but it seems unlikely to happen.Not as user friendly as I'd been lead to believe when reading other reviews.

1. Fix IOU Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart IOU: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the IOU App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "IOU" » Open IOU - debt manager » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for IOU » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear IOU - debt manager app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from IOU servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "IOU - debt manager" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check IOU app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, IOU might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall IOU. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall IOU then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing IOU not working

2. Fix IOU Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make IOU be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to IOU not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, IOU may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
