1. Went to purchase a ticket the app seemed really easy to use, entered my payment option, clicked checkout, confirm and.... "we're sorry an error occurred while trying to process your billing information." So basically whatever preforms updates MTS supposedly made ended up disabling their own ability to access this new-fangled thing called "the internet"I was initially hesitant to use this app based on the reviews.

2. I haven't had to buy a ticket yet, so no idea if that portion is actually working, but it does seem to still have my payment method saved.Regardless of the update, still having the "Can't connect to server" issue, while being on wifi or data.

3. Purchasing a ticket on this app has been a breeze for me without any issues; the only minor issue I see is once the ticket is purchased it says that it expires next year, but using the ticket shows the actual expiration date.

4. I found the Trip Tools extremely helpful because I use the Schedule & Real Time to check buses and trolley times when I'm out shopping to make sure I don't miss the next one.a very simple app that makes transit super easy.

5. I'll be using this from now on! Note: your pass will say it'll expire next year in the beginning, but it expires the next day after you redeem it!Ok so our University completely replaced physical buss passes with the app.

6. I have my monthly ticket still and didn't have to input any account information again, but when trying to access "Personal Info" or "Security Settings" in the "Account" section, the app crashes.

7. Slow to load, for "Trip Planner" and "Schedules and Real Time" the map portion of the screen won't load, it keeps saying that I'm in "Private Browsing Mode" and to switch to normal browsing to use the autocomplete.

8. I had no issues entering my payment information in and receiving and using my ticket.

9. Potential improvement could be having trip planner feature feel more native to the app, I think it takes you to a website and if it doesn't it's just disjointed and seems like it does.I've really enjoyed this app.

10. If you purchase a fare like day pass and don't use it (didn't activate it yet), then it'll stay on your app until you're ready to use it because it won't expire until the next year on the same day that you bought the fare.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Compass Cloud Issues

1. Fix Compass Cloud Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Compass Cloud: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Compass Cloud App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Compass Cloud" » Open Compass Cloud - SDMTS & NCTD » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Compass Cloud » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Compass Cloud - SDMTS & NCTD app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Compass Cloud servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Compass Cloud - SDMTS & NCTD" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Compass Cloud app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Compass Cloud might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Compass Cloud. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Compass Cloud then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Compass Cloud not working


2. Fix Compass Cloud Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Compass Cloud be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Compass Cloud not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Compass Cloud may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
