Alternatively you can try find direction using Analog Clock provided in the app. - The compass app requests location, and network permissions. permissions are required to get current location to show on google map, find address, get weather conditions, get true north, enable Analog Clock and Qibla to work. - Camera permission is required to use flashlight and camera view. - Reading and writing file permissions allow you to import and export csv file, save and load images to and from the app's folder only. ❤❤❤ We are trying hard to make our app better.

2. The compass app can be used for direction, location and navigation. - Link to map for route finding, nearby places,... - Distance and bearing from your current location to a location saved in events or tasks list. - Every compass requires magnetometer on your phone to work properly.

3. If your phone has no magnetometer, the compass won't spin.

1. I guess they're more concerned about my location than giving me directions? Oh well, it is what it is! Don't download this app if you have a Samsung phone because it will not work if you are lost in the woods but only if you are driving a car.Wow this app actually worked to help me locate the qibla a message popped up saying when I travel it won't work because my phone doesn't have magnetic compass I ignored the message and clicked ok it works fine tells me where qibla is I've tried all the other apps they didn't work so this is great thou I do urge the makers to see why my phone pops up with that message ?North is slightly offset due to the recent flip., Not sure how he calculates these values.

Other than that i sometimes have to restart the app as it gets stuck on the phone.Quick install, compass seems to be accurate, so will be useful for fengsu in the home for instance to make sure the head of the bed is facing North for a good night's sleep, and also for gardening so you can check the best position for plants and veg.

3. As a new user cannot yet say what effects this app will have on my phone, such as draining the battery, time will tell.Doesn't work at all for me.

4. When I start the app it correctly Points North but when I turn directions, it doesn't change where North is on the compass.

1. Fix Compass Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Compass: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Compass App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Compass" » Open Compass » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Compass » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Compass app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Compass servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Compass" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Compass app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Compass might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Compass. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Compass then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Compass not working

2. Fix Compass Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Compass be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Compass not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Compass may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
