Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Image Optimizer Issues
1. Fix Image Optimizer Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart Image Optimizer: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the Image Optimizer App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Image Optimizer" » Open Image Optimizer » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Image Optimizer » click "UPDATE".
- Clear Image Optimizer app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Image Optimizer servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Image Optimizer" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check Image Optimizer app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Image Optimizer might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall Image Optimizer. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Image Optimizer then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Image Optimizer not working
2. Fix Image Optimizer Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Image Optimizer be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Image Optimizer not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Image Optimizer may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
