1. The Jukestar Guest app uses tokens for requesting, but don’t worry: We have carefully designed the token system so that guests can participate without having to pay for tokens.
2. The Jukestar jukebox will automatically distribute the songs in the playlist based on who requested what, when they requested it and what other guests think of the songs in the jukebox.
3. They can now use their phone (without needing Spotify) to make requests from the millions of tracks available on Spotify, vote for the songs they like and veto the songs they hate.
4. The host app requires a Spotify Premium account (a 30 day free trial is available from Spotify).
5. Use the Jukestar jukebox to start the music democracy at your next party.
6. Download the Jukestar Guest app. It’s free!
7. Guests do not need a Spotify account.
8. Are you a GUEST at a Jukestar party?
9. Love great music and have Spotify Premium?
10. Create a party and share with your guests.
11. In fact, more than 95% of Jukestar parties run without guests paying.
1. Would also be nice to easier change the backup playlist Should include features of the guest app rather than needing to switch apps if host wants to add a song? Backup playlist should be allowed to repeat concept 5* User friendliness 2*Token based system makes the user experience slow and painful to the point where nobody was interested in taking the time to buy into the contrived system required to gain any functionality.
2. And then the party was fun again!Decent but needs work - Great idea, technically works well, but similar to the guest app it's layout let's it down a lot Needs better controls, a bigger play button, the skip button shouldn't be hidden away and volume controls would be good.
3. It worked a lot better when there was just a host app and people were able to suggest songs through a website.Really good except lots of pauses between songs.
4. It would be good to be able to choose more speakers, ie wireless attached speakers (why can't I connect to all the devices spotify can see?)Works excellently for its intended purpose.
5. Could have been a good app that provides a function that Spotify desperately needs and should have already developed and integrated into their interface.I used this app for my wedding and people were very excited to use it and they did.
6. Now that people have to download the guest app to be able to suggest songs, no one uses this at my events.
7. Sadly I won't be using because you can't have a party where the music is played over a phone.Sounds good but doesn't work.
8. I downloaded my Playlist but it still wouldn't play any songs, it just said no songs in queue.
9. After a while there was only one person adding songs, and they were good choices, but he could only add two and then had to wait for an amount of time or buy tokens.
10. So I gave up on jukestar for our party and i just sent everyone a collaborative spotify playlist to add music to.
11. Guest could never enter party, when I tried to connect as guest it just says joining party but never connects.Fun and easy to use.
