Why should I report an Issue with OAN: Live Breaking News?

1. An app that starts making noise when opened that cannot be turned off is an offensive and useless app.While I love the actual news station, this app is virtually useless When I open a news app, I want to read.

2. When I open the app, the default Top News tab is displayed (which is good), however, a video starts playing and I can't find it for awile.

3. So, if you're sitting in a boring meeting, or in a restaurant or some other public setting and you want to peek DISCREETLY at the news, it starts blaring out the daily updates for all to hear!!!!!????? Very, very annoying.

4. When I mute the video (which I didn't want to play in the first place) its difficult to get out of the video mode so I can return to the top stories tab.

5. There appears to be no way of stopping the app from playing audio of a reporter from automatically playing when the app is running other than to make certain that the phone's volume is at zero prior to opening the app What a pain in the butt.

6. There's actually no settings menu at all! There's also no visual of the video that starts up when you open the app.

7. Between the enormous headline that stays put at the top of the screen and TWO ads (which happen to be duplicates) there is no more than a third of my screen visible with which to read the article.

8. Half the time the formatting of the pages that do load is so bad that it's more trouble read than it's worth.App is prone to not being able to open.

11. I've held out for a while trying not to uninstall because I like the way they present the news but this app is useless.

1. Fix OAN Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart OAN: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the OAN App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "OAN" » Open OAN: Live Breaking News » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for OAN » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear OAN: Live Breaking News app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from OAN servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "OAN: Live Breaking News" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check OAN app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, OAN might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall OAN. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall OAN then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing OAN not working

2. Fix OAN Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make OAN be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to OAN not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, OAN may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
